Born in New York City to a Japanese father and Canadian Mother, Toronto-based Justin Nozuka moved to Canada at the age of 8, and has been writing songs since he was 12.
Still only 18 years of age, Justin uses what feels like years of experience to pour into the gripping, emotive stories, melodies and imagery that make up his engrossing debut album, ‘Holly’.

Nozuka is a startling and unique new talent with an evocative way with words that belies his young age. He uses his vivid imagination to mould emotionally engaging and unique songs and his edgy, soulful vocals add an extra depth to his stories.
